Today I was asked by one of the owner's of another store here in Downtown West Palm Beach Why do I like doing weddings when there are, so many other fields to do in photography that don't involve weddings? I told him simply because I love weddings. I started my career in photography as a studio photographer in 1997, and it was not until I did my first wedding with my employer at the time Lou & his company Elite Photography that I fell in love with weddings. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen, the sparkle, the glamour, the romance. It was all, so magical, and the bride she was beautiful just like a princess. To me weddings are the beginning and the end of your life. In one way your life is ending, or should I really say changing in other ways its beginning. What your life was before your wedding will never be the same. You are saying goodbye, to your single life. Even the smallest details that you don't think about will forever be changed. Like waking up in the morning; from your wedding day on every morning will start the day with that special someone in your life laying right next to you. He is no longer, your boyfriend, or your sweetheart . He is, and will forever be your husband. For some brides the meaning of change goes a little deeper. Some of our brides it's about leaving your childhood behind, and starting your new life as a wife. Marriage is the beginning of something great. Every day in your new marriage it will be an adventure. As a wedding photographer I am very lucky to see all that in my couples. As there photographer I get to see the most intimate moments of a wedding, just because I am the photographer. The day of the wedding my couples let me share wonderful and intimate moments that are not shared with guest, or other vendors on there wedding day. Since I am given the chance to see these moment reflect in my lens; it helps me capture a great moment in there lives.("Capturing the Classic Art of Life") One of my most rewarding moments is when a couple comes back to me for maternity, and family photograph because to me when I take those photographs I am creating a memory that will help tell the story of there new adventures as a family. It's a wonderful feeling to be apart of there beginning. To share in all the love, happiness, and laughter that makes the story of there lives. That is why I love my career as a wedding photographer. |
