Downtown Development Authoirty Second Annual "Walk on Olive"

On Tuesday May 17, 2011 we participated in the second annual "Walk on Olive Hosted by the Downtown Development Authority. It was a wonderful event that help our Downtown West Palm Beach residents get to know the stores on Olive. Since it is our first week here in our retail store on Olive we where so excited to meet out new neighbors to the North on Olive & to the South on Olive like " The M Spa" where they have hair & nail services. Brides if you are looking for a place to get your hair, nails and make up done with out going to several places then this is the Spa Salon for you. They also have Special Bridal Packages available. They had musician & performers on the walk one of these performers was Gary Goodman. He is a Magician & a Illusionist with a very different performance. If you are having

a Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, and are looking for ways to entertain the kids you might want to give Gary a call. One of my favorites activities going on at the Walk on Olive was Duffy's they where giving away food and beer. Yes, there is a "Duffy's" in Downtown West Palm Beach. They have now Joined all the great restaurants that serve the downtowns area, so if you are looking for some beer, and a great place to hang out stop by "Duffy's". Now if you are looking for a Great Pizza then may I suggest "Hot Pie" they are also located on Olive Ave & Datura across the street from Classic Photography of the Palm Beaches. There pizza is YUMMY! I know this from experience. My favorite lunch is a Slice of pizza & the small house salad from Hot Pie which by that way it is not so small.

We also had a wonderful time meetting all the residents of Downtown West Palm Beach. There was a raffle for the residents who came to the walk. We participated by giving away a Free Photography Session on the Beach and a Free 8x10. We also had a consolation prize of bubbly Champagne for those who did not win the drawing. I was afraid that we did not buy enough, but some how we made it throw. It was a wonderful getting to know every one, and we can not wait until next years "Walk on Olive". We can not wait for the next event in downtown West Palm Beach.

"Walk On Olive" was a great idea and well executed. My background is in advertising and marketing. I appreciate the work behind the scene. For those of us who never ventured around the corner from Clemetis to Olive before the walk ...I speak for myself, I will definitely stop and enjoy the great Pizza, the delicious chocolates and all the "free" advise from the hair cutteries that is right after I get my massage. Great Job. Look forward to the next walk. Count me in if I can assist. Chris
